1. Who we are
Tapznap is operated by ERAQUA LTD, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus (HE 475206). We build a social entertainment platform where creators post videos, text, and commentary across finance, business, real estate and macro. Questions: joachimjones@hotmail.com
2. What we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, username, and profile photo you provide on sign-up.
- Content you post: videos, images, text captions, comments, reactions, gifts.
- Usage data: which posts you view or like, timestamps, device type, and OS version — used only to improve the feed algorithm.
- Camera & microphone: only when you record a video or go live. We never record without your explicit action.
- Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your card number.
3. How we use your data
- To show you a personalised feed and recommendations.
- To process gifts, tips, and Pro Creator subscriptions through Stripe.
- To send in-app and push notifications you have enabled.
- To detect and remove spam, abuse, and illegal content.
- We never sell your data to third parties.
4. AI features
When you use the "Translate" button, the caption text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for translation. We send only the text you chose to translate — no account ID or personal data is attached. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that request. Translations are not stored on our servers.
5. Data sharing
We share data only with:
- Supabase / PostgreSQL — database hosting (EU region).
- Vercel — app hosting (Edge Network).
- Stripe — payment processing.
- LiveKit — real-time video/audio for calls and live streams (end-to-end encrypted via SRTP/TLS).
- Anthropic — translation only (see §4).
All providers are bound by data processing agreements.
6. Calls & live streams
Audio and video calls use LiveKit with WebRTC encryption (SRTP for media, TLS for signalling). Call content is never recorded or stored by Tapznap unless you explicitly start a recording.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA/UK you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete my account or email joachimjones@hotmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
Tapznap is not intended for users under 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13 we delete the account immediately.
9. Changes
We post updated versions of this policy at this URL. Significant changes are notified in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
